Spacers, Saturday was a rare pause in our update transmissions - after all, even captains and their crew need some R&R. But fear not, because today we’re back with some fantastic news!

DAY 6 SURPRISE UNLOCKED! NEW SUIT! THE BLACK HOLE SUIT!

This Suit was made with an unknown alloy recovered from the alien being called ‘the Slender’. The alloy has some peculiar light- and gravity-bending properties, it is also incredibly light. However, after extended use, crewmembers complained about headaches, night terrors and, in extreme cases, hallucinations.

The Black Hole Suit, as it was dubbed, is a mid-level Suit you can craft from the alloy of a dead Slender. The Black Hole Suit offers excellent stealth performance, as well as some disturbing abilities we won’t spoil just yet, it also sports a unique Rubicon statline, offering Gravity tokens. However, it is detrimental to the wearers psyche.

Suits make half of your character build, as not only do they provide Rubicon bonuses, Vitality Levels and unique abilities, they also influence how many Gear slots you have. Each new Suit comes with a miniature or standee, as well as an Oversized Suit card.

Community Unlock: NEW LOCATION!  AUTOMA SHED!

People often wonder where the Automas go when not in use. Here. Into a storage ‘shed’, stacked with service/battery bays for the various robotic units. Pitch black, cramped, and hard to navigate, these spaces were not meant for human movement, and now, after years of disuse, they are more perilious than ever. Nevertheless, as they are located at crucial junctions between several ship sections (for high efficiency of automa deployment throughout the Sheperd), they make for perfect shortucts and hiding places. If you’re brave enough.

You know of at least one abandoned automa shed and another completely overgrown with fungi. There are bound to be more…

Locations are the living beating heart of Enormity, as they expand the boundaries of our open world, creating more intricate layouts and allowing for many more playthrough permutations!

Community Unlock: Messages from Home: Stolen Life!

Who were you before you enlisted in the faithful mission to The Shepherd? What happened to you back home? Were you driven to come? Or were you running away from your problems? Or maybe you know much more about this ‘Return’ and the ship’s original flight to begin with?

Messages from Home is a new type of adventure, meant to give players new character options, while enriching their backstory, and the game’s intrigue!

\\ MISSON LOG, UNKNOWN LOCATION, TIME UNKNOWN

Winds howl on the sheared plains of the barren planet. In our panicked haste, in our burning need to get off that damn ship, we never considered the very real possibility: what if the place we ran to was worse than the place we were running from?

Day will break soon. It makes little difference. Halla’s star is pale, and all but spent. Eternal twilight. Heavy rainfall. And… those… things. They come for us whenever we stop to catch a breath. Move through walls. Rise from below our feet. Reach out with their limbs. They mouth something, but sound does not come out. I imagine they are pleading, but they might as well be cursing us.

NCEs. Non-corporeal entities. Though my team keeps calling them ‘ghosts’. Ghosts of what? Of whom? They take the shapes of Earthborne EVA suits, but that’s just mimicry, there was no NASF mission to Halla… right?

The wind is getting stronger, and the ghosts flee. Something else comes. I feel a tug at my heart. Tremendous guilt. An almost sacred experience.

It engulfs us. My suit is melting away. In my last moments, I look into its helmet’s visor. I see- I see the face of my mother. She’s in hell.

I go to her.

The Ghosts of Halla is an intermediate difficult campaign that should take you 30 to 45 hours to complete.

The Art of Enormity

Lately, a question has been popping up in the community: “Do you use AI to create the artwork for Enormity?” Let’s clear this up once and for all - we do not use AI to create our art. Every piece you see is brought to life with care, passion, and the unique skills of our dedicated team of artists.

To give you a behind-the-scenes look at our creative process, we’ve invited Damian, one of our talented in-house artists, to walk you through the journey of designing the Automas - the intruders introduced in our recent Grand Intruder Spotlight. From the initial sketches to the final designs, we’re pulling back the curtain on how the art of Enormity takes shape.

The finished art isn’t just beautiful - it’s functional. Each piece of art is adapted into its final forms, such as miniatures, cards, and rulebooks, ensuring that the visual storytelling enhances gameplay.

That’s all for today, Spacers! As always, we’ll see you in the next update and over in the comments section!
